Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This page contains important information about your rights and obligations. If anything here conflicts with rights that cannot be waived under applicable law, those rights apply.
1. Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and digital access work for Frobly's paid features.
Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
2. Digital service delivery
Frobly is a digital service. Paid features are usually made available immediately after payment confirmation. There is no physical shipping.
3. Free plan
The Free plan is free and does not require payment. Free features may be changed or limited at any time.
4. Who sells Guard, and who handles payment support
Frobly is operated and provided by Panon Valley LLC. The Guard subscription is sold using Stripe's Managed Payments, which makes Stripe, through Link, the merchant of record for the payment. Checkout and your receipts may show that the purchase was "Sold through Link".
This changes where you go for different kinds of help:
- Payment, receipts, order history, saved payment methods and refund requests — handled by Link support, using the support contact shown on your receipt or in your Link account.
- Cancelling or reactivating Guard, and invoices for this subscription — the Manage billing screen in the Frobly web app, or your Link account.
- The Frobly product itself — imports, audits, reminders, your Frobly account — support@frobly.com.
Stripe/Link may issue a refund independently of Frobly under its own Managed Payments process, including to resolve a customer complaint or reduce a chargeback. You do not need our approval to ask Link support for a refund.
You can also contact us at billing@frobly.com about any billing matter, and we will help or point you to the right channel.
5. Guard subscriptions and cancellation
Guard is a recurring subscription, billed monthly at US$4.99 or yearly at US$35.88 (shown as $2.99/month billed yearly), plus any applicable tax. Prices are tax-exclusive, so tax is added on top at checkout and on each renewal.
Guard renews automatically until it is canceled. You may cancel at any time through Manage billing in the Frobly web app, through your Link account, or by contacting billing@frobly.com.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. It stops future renewals. Guard normally stays active for the rest of the period you have already paid for, and there is no routine automatic prorated refund for the unused part of that period.
Plan switching is not currently offered: there is no in-place change between the monthly and yearly interval. To change interval, cancel renewal, let the period end, and subscribe again.
6. Refund considerations
Because Guard is a digital service that becomes available immediately, a charge is generally not refunded simply because you cancel, except where required by law or where we or Stripe/Link decide to make an exception.
Refunds are considered — by us, by Stripe/Link, or both — for cases such as:
- duplicate or mistaken charges;
- accidental purchases reported promptly;
- technical failures that prevent access and cannot be resolved;
- cases required by law, including statutory withdrawal or cooling-off rights (section 9).
7. What a refund does to your Guard access
Frobly reacts to a refund based on what the refund actually is, not on who issued it:
- A full refund of the charge that paid for your current subscription period cancels the subscription and ends Guard access immediately. Your account returns to the Free plan.
- A partial refund does not change Guard. The subscription continues and access is unaffected.
- A refund relating to an older or unrelated charge does not revoke your current subscription. Only a refund that traces back to the charge for your current Guard period affects access.
The same applies if a payment dispute is decided against the charge for your current period: Guard access ends. A dispute decided in favour of the charge changes nothing.
Losing Guard access does not delete anything. Your tracked subscriptions and past audits remain in your account, subject to the Free plan's limits.
8. Yearly plans
Yearly plans are billed upfront for the annual period. Unless required by law, or unless we or Stripe/Link agree otherwise, yearly subscription payments are not prorated or refunded after the billing period begins.
9. Statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights
Depending on where you live, you may have statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights under applicable law. Where those rights apply, contact us at support@frobly.com within the applicable period. We will provide the cancellation, refund, or other remedy required by law.
Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer rights. Where mandatory law gives you rights stronger than this Policy, those rights apply.
A full refund, when issued, ends Guard access immediately — the subscription is canceled and your account returns to the Free plan (section 7). Your tracked subscriptions and past audits are not deleted.
Contact us about a statutory right
Use the link above (it fills in the subject line) and include:
- the email address on your Frobly account;
- the date you purchased Guard.
That is all we need in order to look up your purchase. Never send card numbers, card security codes, or bank details — we do not need them, we cannot accept them, and we will never ask you for them. Any refund is returned to your original payment method automatically.
Separately, because Guard is sold through Stripe's Managed Payments, Stripe/Link is the merchant of record and handles transaction-level payment support. So you can also raise a payment or refund question with Link support, using the contact details on your receipt or in your Link account, or email us at billing@frobly.com.
That is an additional route for payment support, not a substitute for the above. Contacting Link does not decide whether a statutory right applies to you, does not guarantee any refund, and does not relieve us of our responsibility to respond appropriately to a statutory request you send to support@frobly.com.
10. Failed payments
If a recurring payment fails, payment may be retried and you may be notified. Access can be suspended, downgraded to the Free plan, or the subscription canceled, depending on the outcome reported by the payment provider.
11. Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact billing@frobly.com or Link support before filing a payment dispute, so the issue can be resolved directly. As merchant of record, Stripe handles disputes for Managed Payments transactions. We may suspend accounts involved in unresolved chargebacks, fraud, or payment abuse.
12. How to request a refund
If you are exercising a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right, use the contact box in section 9.
For any other refund request: Link support handles payment and refund requests for this subscription as merchant of record. You can also email billing@frobly.com with:
- your Frobly account email;
- purchase date;
- plan purchased (Guard monthly or Guard yearly);
- the receipt or invoice reference, if you have it;
- reason for the request.
We may ask for identity or account verification.
13. Refund timing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Banks and card networks may take additional time to post a refund. A refund includes any tax you paid on the original charge.
14. Where Guard is sold
Guard is currently purchased only from the Frobly web app. Frobly does not sell subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play today, so no app store refund or cancellation tool applies to a Guard subscription. If that ever changes, the relevant store's policies and tools would apply to purchases made there, and this page will be updated.
15. Contact
Billing and refunds: billing@frobly.com. Payment, receipts, order history and refund requests for the transaction itself are handled by Link support as merchant of record.
